Twain

TWAIN

One swipe. Two worlds.

Every swipe moves two characters in two different worlds. One hits a wall, the other keeps going — use that to line them up and bring both home at the very same moment.

How to play

Swipe up, down, left or right. Both characters try to move that way at the same time. Get both onto their green exits on the same swipe.

Two at once

A character that hits a wall stays put while the other keeps moving. Walls are your best tool for lining them up.

Mirror worlds

In a purple world left and right are swapped: swipe right and that character goes left. Up and down stay the same.

Ice worlds

In a teal world the character slides until it hits a wall. It needs something in front of it to stop.

Holes

Don't step into a hole. If a move would drop a character in, it bounces back and the move is undone.

Three stars

Finish in the shortest number of moves for three stars. Every level is checked by a solver, so the target is always reachable.

45 levels, 14 languages

A gentle start, then mirror, ice and holes mixed together. Play in English, Türkçe, Deutsch, Français, Español, 日本語, 한국어, 中文 and more.

Support

Stuck, found a bug, or have an idea? Here are quick answers — and we read every email.

I'm stuck. How do hints work?

Tap the light bulb. It draws the full solution from where you are: dotted paths on both boards and the swipes to make at the top. Follow it and the path advances with you; make a different move and it disappears.

Your first hint is free. After that, each hint is unlocked by watching a short, optional ad. A level solved with a hint gives at most 2 stars.

How many undos do I get?

Each level gives you a few undos: 2 in levels 1–5, 3 in levels 6–10 and 4 after that. The number is shown on the Undo button.

When you run out, you can watch a short, optional ad for 3 more undos on that level. Restarting a level is always free.

How do I get 3 stars?

Finish in the target number of moves shown at the top — that is the shortest possible solution. Up to 3 moves more gives 2 stars; any solution gives 1 star.

Why do I see ads?

Twain is free to play. Occasionally, after you finish a level (not in the first levels), a full-screen ad may appear. Rewarded ads for hints and undos are always your choice.

I lost my progress.

On Android you can delete or reset your advertising ID in Settings → Google → Ads (or Settings → Privacy → Ads). On iOS go to Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. See the Privacy Policy for details.

How do I request deletion of my data?

We don't keep identifiable data on our own servers. Email us and we will help with any request involving our advertising and analytics partners.
